Professional Conferences and Workshops:
· Public education workshops on Diabetes Mellitus, including symptoms, complications, and various treatments. · Public education workshop on nutrition. · Provided a workshop on cancer in collaboration with the Committee of Families and Friends of Cancer Patients. · Coordinated the first Nursing Conference within the West Bank at Bethlehem University. 260 nurses from throughout Palestine attended. · Organized a workshop to assess the health situation in the Bethlehem area. 70 members representing 18 different healthcare organizations attended and participated in the formation of a task force. The purpose of this task force is to carry out the recommendations generated by this conference. The task force is on-going. · Organized a Women’s Health Conference in which 98 professionals from Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Hebron and Ramallah participated. These healthcare professionals represented 35 different healthcare organizations. |
